OVERKILL Members Launch All-Out Thrash Assault With SPEED KILL HATE

January 23, 2003

OVERKILL members Dave Linsk (guitar),Derek Tailer (guitar),and Tim Mallare (drums) have formed a new "old-school thrash" project called SPEED KILL HATE.

The band, who are completed by vocalist Mario (formerly of Linsk's pre-OVERKILL band ANGER ON ANGER),are currently writing and recording the material for their debut record, tentatively due later in the year through an as-yet-undetermined label.

In addition to having played with Linsk in ANGER ON ANGER, Mario was featured as one of the backing vocalists on the G/Z/R track "Outworld" on the "More Mortal Kombat" soundtrack, originally issued in 1996.

For more information on SPEED KILL HATE — including MP3s of the tracks "Walls Of Hate" and "Repent" — visit the band's official web site at this location.
