OVERKILL: Vintage Vinyl In-Store Time Changed

October 4, 2007

OVERKILL's previously announced in-store signing on Saturday, October 6 at Vintage Vinyl in Fords, New Jersey has been moved to 3:30 p.m. from the previously announced 2:00 p.m. (contrary to a previous announcement on the Vintage Vinyl web site, the appearance will NOT include an in-store performance, according to OVERKILL vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth).

As previously reported, OVERKILL has unleashed the second installment in its video blog, featuring professionally filmed footage from this year's Wacken Open Air festival, which took place in early August in Wacken, Germany. Watch the clip (featuring a performance of the new song "Walk through Fire") below.

A brand new OVERKILL track, Devils in the Mist, is available for download at this location (free registration required). The song comes off the group's new album, "Immortalis", due on October 9 via Bodog Music. The CD marks OVERKILL's reunion with Jonny and Marsha Zazula, previous owners of Megaforce Records, the label responsible for putting metal on the map and bringing OVERKILL's New Jersey thrash metal to the world. The Zazulas are now a part of the Bodog Music team in the United States.

Five years after it faded into oblivion, the 2002 OVERKILL double-DVD "Live: Wrecking Everything, an Evening in Asbury Park" was re-released on October 2 via Eagle Vision, according to MTV.com. The first disc features a 21-song concert shot in Asbury Park in March 2002 and the second DVD offers the 60-minute documentary "Batmen, the Return".
