OVERMASTER's 'Madness Of War' Due In April

March 8, 2010

The debut CD from OVERMASTER, entitled "Madness of War", will be released on April 23 via Cruz Del Sur Music.

OVERMASTER features the wailing power of Gustavo "Gus" GabarrĂ³ (formerly of WHITE SKULL) on vocals, along with several other professional and skilled Italian musicians hailing from SKYLARK, HIGHLORD, EDGE OF FOREVER and other talented Italian acts.

Over the miserable topic of war, OVERMASTER as a group were inspired to create dramatic and emotional atmospheres on their debut full-length release, where the description of the "madness of war" is expressed through a galloping and relentless rhythm section, textured guitar work, atmospheric keyboards and Gus's expressive voice. Every piece falls into place, creating an album that might at first seem to be inspired by the Teutonic heavy metal school, but maintains a clear and self-identity thanks to the layered and multifaceted work of every member of the tightly-knit unit.

"Madness of War" was recorded, mixed and mastered at Fear Studio during the crossover into 2010, with the usual high standard sound quality of Fear's previous productions.
