OZZFEST In San Bernardino: New Audio Clip Posted Online

August 25, 2005

Pitriff.com has uploaded a short audio clip from the debacle at the Ozzfest from August 20 in Devore, California, in which eggs were thrown at IRON MAIDEN, their sound system was cut off, and someone came on the loudspeakers chanting "Ozzy." In the audio here (Windows Media required),you can hear someone coming over the PA system at the conclusion of IRON MAIDEN's set chanting "Ozzy" as MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson tries to talk over it to thank the crowd. Shortly after, you can hear Sharon Osbourne come out and thank IRON MAIDEN, before slamming Dickinson as a "prick" who benefitted from Ozzfest and continually disrespected it while on the festival tour.
