OZZY OSBOURNE Among Judges At 6th Annual INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARDS

June 23, 2006

Ozzy Osbourne has been announced as one of more than a dozen music artists/music industry professionals who will serve as judges at the sixth annual Independent Music Awards.

Created by Music Resource Group, publisher of the best-selling Musician's Atlas contact resource, the IMA program coordinates a variety of programs and events to market and promote IMA winners and finalists throughout the year, according to Sonicbids.com. Among the promotional benefits are online jukeboxes dedicated to both IMA Winners and IMA Finalists. MRG directs consumers and industry representatives to these two promotional areas through a series of high-profile marketing campaigns, advertising, trade show activities, promotional materials, etc.

Other atist judges for the upcoming 2007 awards include Wynonna, Suzanne Vega, Cyndi Lauper, Fatboy Slim, McCoy Tyner, Paul Oakenfold, Marc Ribot, Buddy Guy, David Grisman, Beenie Man and Howard Tate.
