OZZY OSBOURNE And JUSTIN BIEBER In BEST BUY Commercial; First Photos Released

January 27, 2011

Legendary heavy metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne and teen heartthrob Justin Bieber are expected to star in a Super Bowl TV commercial together for home electronics chain, Best Buy. Details are scarce, but according to USA Today, the 30-spot — in which both Ozzy and Justin are dressed in futuristic-style black jumpsuits — is expected to run during the third quarter of the game on February 6.

Best Buy's marketing supervisor said, "Justin Bieber is the biggest star out there, but that's not why he's in the spot. He symbolically represents something important to the brand message." That message will target a younger demographic, as Best Buy hopes to change its image and evolve as an Internet provider technology expert.

The ad was shot earlier this month and will run after the Super Bowl.

One insider estimates that Bieber made at least $1 million for the ad.

Bieber confirmed the news on Twitter, writing, "Guess the word is out. Me and Ozzy did a pretty funny commercial for @BestBuy."

Check out photos from the shoot at DailyMail.co.uk.

When Ozzy was interviewed last month on Fuse TV and was asked to talk about his contemporary music tastes and, in particular, if he was a fan of Justin Bieber, he replied, "Who the fuck is Justin Bieber?" (see clip below).
