OZZY OSBOURNE: Another Unreleased Cover Song To Look Forward To?

April 6, 2005

In a recent Metal Edge interview, Ozzy Osbourne revealed that he has recorded a cover of "Go Now" by the MOODY BLUES. Ozzy says, "It came out great." The song may be considered for inclusion on the separate release of Disc 4 ("Under Covers") of Ozzy's recently issued box set, "Prince of Darkness", which is due in June or later this summer via Sony. Ozzy has also recorded the following covers which have not yet been released: "Hi Ho Silver Lining" (JEFF BECK),"Rocky Mountain Way" (JOE WALSH) and "Woman" (JOHN LENNON). Additionally, there has been no sign of the Asian tunami benefit single, "Tears In Heaven", which features a guest appearance by Osbourne. In a recent interview, Ozzy said it won't be out for another six weeks. Other artists lending their voices to the song include Gwen Stefani (NO DOUBT),Pink, VELVET REVOLVER, Steven Tyler (AEROSMITH),Elton John, Rod Stewart and Kelly Osbourne. Sales of "Tears In Heaven" will benefit the Disasters Emergency Committee's Tsunami Earthquake Appeal.
