OZZY OSBOURNE's Autobiography Postponed Until 2008

May 16, 2007

MonstersAndCritics.com reports that Ozzy Osbourne has missed the deadline to finish his autobiography.

The rocker signed a lucrative deal to publish a tell-all tome about his battle with alcoholism, drugs, depression and his marriage to Sharon Osbourne.

However, Ozzy has been too slow putting pen to paper and the book — which was due to be released in time for Christmas — has now been postponed until next year.

Ozzy's publicist Gary Farrow told Britain's The Independent newspaper: "He just hasn't written it. He is always doing something else, either recording or busy with his festival Ozzfest.

"Sharon is always trying to persuade him to sit down and write, but he won't."

Sharon is now reportedly set to salvage relations with Little, Brown and Company publishers by writing a follow-up to her best-selling 2004 memoir "Extreme".

She will team up with ghostwriter Penelope Dening again and they hope to have the book ready for an autumn release.
