OZZY OSBOURNE To Celebrate BBC Radio 1's 40th Birthday

According to Virgin Media, Ozzy Osbourne will guest-DJ on BBC Radio 1 to celebrate the U.K. station's 40th birthday.

Ozzy is among 10 of the biggest names in music who will be hosting shows while playing the tunes that inspired them.

The event, entitled "Radio 1 Legends", kicks off later this month with Paul McCartney. The other names confirmed include OASIS star Noel Gallagher, Debbie Harry and THE ARCTIC MONKEYS.

Gwen Stefani, Paul Weller, Paul Oakenfold, Dave Grohl and Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) are also on board.

The event, celebrating 40 years since the station launched in 1967, runs from September 17 to September 28.
