PAINMUSEUM: Instrumental Track Available For Free Download

August 15, 2005

PAINMUSEUM's official web site, www.painmuseum.com, is currently offering for a limited time a free MP3 of the guitar intrumental track "I Am Your Keeper", taken from PAINMUSEUM's "Metal For Life" album (CMM/Demolition). "I Am Your Keeper", featuring "Metal" Mike Chlasciak (HALFORD, SEBASTIAN BACH),drummer Bobby Jarzombek (ICED EARTH, HALFORD, SEBASTIAN BACH) and bassist Steve DiGiorgio (SEBASTIAN BACH, SADUS, TESTAMENT),is "pretty much the reason for kids to pick up their guitar and stop listening to LINKIN PARK," according to Mike. You can also preview all "Metal for Life" tracks at www.cdbaby.com/metalmike.

In other news, Metal Mike has completed a short Guitar World "Betcha Can't Play This" feature that will appear on the magazine's pages in the very near future. The terrifying guitar example will be transcribed in the magazine and appear on the accompanying CD-ROM that comes with each issue.

Also on the Metal Mike-related front, Mike has confirmed his participation on the upcoming sophomore solo album from HAMMERFALL singer Joacim Cans.

"I really enjoyed working with Joacim on his first solo release, 'Beyond the Gates' (Noise/Sanctuary)," stated Mike. "I believe that 'Beyond the Gates' contained some of my best guitar solos to date. I had a great time working with Joacim, Stefan Elmgren, Mark Zonder, recording at Studio Fredman and tearing up the Swedish metal scene at night. For the next one, I'm putting together some strong song ideas with Joacim, but I wouldn't rule out a possible guest spot somewhere on the album."
