PAINMUSEUM To Release 'You Have The Right To Remain Violent' EP

June 2, 2006

PAINMUSEUM, the band led by HALFORD/SEBASTIAN BACH guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak, has set a July 1, 2006 release date for their new enhanced EP, entitled "You Have the Right to Remain Violent". To be released exclusively on Metal Mike's own imprint C.M.M. Entertainment, LLC, the EP will feature a new studio track, "Scars In Black", three songs taken from the band's 2005 debut, "Metal For Life", a video for "Speak The Name" as well as animated menus, custom video players, photo gallery, six wall papers and an exclusive video message from Metal Mike. James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DISINCARNATE, DEATH) has once again provided the mastering duties at The Safe House in Florida, while art was done by Darkmouth Design (SIX FEET UNDER, HATEBREED). The lineup of musicians appearing on the EP remains same as on "Metal For Life": Metal Mike (guitar; HALFORD, SEBASTIAN BACH, TESTAMENT),Bobby Jarzombek (drums; HALFORD, SEBASTIAN BACH, RIOT),Steve DiGiorgio (bass; TESTAMENT, DEATH, SADUS),Tim Clayborne (vocals),Joe Comeau (additional vocals; OVERKILL, ANNIHILATOR). Roy Z. (JUDAS PRIEST, HALFORD, BRUCE DICKINSON) mixed all tracks.

"This special release is for many of our fans who write inquiring about a new PAINMUSEUM album," stated Mike. "While we get our asses over to the studio and complete the next release, this is for the ones who are interested in our brand of heavy metal. This is a good way to further introduce new fans to the band who might have not yet heard our debut album and will help us further our mission during our headlining East Coast Violence 2006 tour dates this summer. Crank this shit up."

Not to be licensed in any other territory, "You Have The Right To Remain Violent" will be available exclusively in North America through C.M.M. Entertainment, LLC, and on import in all other territories. Century Media's CM Distro will provide all North American retail location sales while online retailers will include CDBaby.com, BestBuy.com, GuitarMusic9.com and TowerRecords.com.
