PAPA ROACH, BUCKCHERRY, SHADOWS FALL Members Comment On THE REV's Passing

Members of PAPA ROACH, BUCKCHERRY and SHADOWS FALL have commented on the passing of AVENGED SEVENFOLD drummer James "The Rev" Sullivan.

PAPA ROACH (via Twitter): "This is a sad day for rock and roll. RIP, Jimmy 'Rev' Sullivan. You will be greatly missed, my friend."

BUCKCHERRY (via Twitter): "The Rev... You will be missed. Rest in peace, our brother from the road. The entire A7X family is in our thoughts."

Vocalist Brian Fair of SHADOWS FALL (via AOL's Noisecreep): "The Rev was truly one of a kind. No one threw it down quite like he did. He will be missed terribly. May he rest in peace."

Drummer Jason Bittner of SHADOWS FALL (via AOL's Noisecreep): "He was a good kid, a great drummer, and generally a funny fucking dude to be around."

Sullivan was found dead at his Southern California home on Monday (December 28). He was 28 years old.

Sullivan appears to have died of natural causes, Huntington Beach police Lt. John Domingo told The Orange County Register. Police were notified by firefighters who had responded to Sullivan's home about 1 p.m., according to the report.

Sullivan is survived by his wife, Leana MacFadden.
