PAPA ROACH Going Acoustic, Just Not Yet

February 13, 2007

Gary Graff of Billboard.com reports that PAPA ROACH hopes to release some acoustic recordings in the future. But their time has not come yet.

"I don't think our fans are quite ready for this yet," frontman Jacoby Shaddix told Billboard.com. "So we've put it on the back burner, but it's definitely something we're gonna touch on in the future."

Shaddix said the Sacramento, Calif., quartet recently recorded three of its songs — "Scars", the new single "Forever" and "Not Coming Home" — acoustically in Scotland, "just to test the waters and see how they sounded. They came out great. First and foremost, it was fun, and the sound quality was killer."
