PAPA ROACH Is 'Slayin' It' On The Road

November 14, 2006

Launch Radio Networks reports: PAPA ROACH had two days to recover from its opening stint for GUNS N' ROSES, which ended last Friday (November 10),before kicking off its headlining run on this year's Zippo Hot Tour last night (Monday, November 13) in Norfolk, Virginia. Singer Jacoby Shaddix told Launch that while he enjoyed the band's time with GUNS, it's nice to be on top of the bill again. "You know, it's all about PAPA ROACH at these shows and I like to be the center of attention, I like people to stroke my ego (laughs),so headlining is always fun for us, you know," he said. "So, you know, if we're coming to a city near you, you best come out, because it's like, we're just slayin' it. Slayin' it."

The Zippo Hot Tour, which also features BULLETS AND OCTANE and (HED) P.E., rolls into Philadelphia tonight (Tuesday, November 14).

PAPA ROACH recently released its fourth major label album, "The Paramour Sessions".

A rare live video of PAPA ROACH performing the song "Decompression Period", shot in Barcelona, Spain in 2003, has been posted at its new YouTube channel. More live clips from the band's current tour are expected to surface at the channel in the weeks ahead.
