January 10, 2008

Grammy-nominated rock band PAPA ROACH announced today that they have appointed Tenth Street Entertainment — home to MÖTLEY CRÜE, SIXX: A.M., MEAT LOAF, BLONDIE, BUCKCHERRY and DROWNING POOL — as new management for the band.

"After meeting with several managers, we concluded that Tenth Street's history of success in the rock genre, along with their vast internal resources, will best position us to succeed as the industry continues to evolve," said PAPA ROACH frontman Jacoby Shaddix. Added bassist Tobin Esperance, "We've watched what they've done recently with BUCKCHERRY and SIXX: A.M. and we couldn't help but be impressed."

Said Tenth Street CEO, Allen Kovac, "There aren't many bands in this current decade who will be making their fifth album and can play a full set of hits behind an established touring base. We feel fortunate to be working with them on what we believe will be the record that makes a quantum leap in their career."

In 2001, PAPA ROACH saw their first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, sharing the category with R&B singer JILL SCOTT, SISQÓ and American country artists BRAD PAISLEY and SHELBY LYNNE.

The band is currently in the studio writing for their next album and will shortly begin recording.

Formed in 1993 and signed to Dreamworks Records in 1999, PAPA ROACH's current lineup is Jacoby Shaddix (lead vocals),Jerry Horton (guitar, backing vocals) and Tobin Esperance (bass, backing vocals).
