PAPA ROACH To Guest On KNAC.COM, TeenMusic.com
September 8, 2006PAPA ROACH will make its first in-studio appearance at KNAC.COM in years today (Friday, September 8) at noon PST. The band will talk about, among other things, recording their new album, "The Paramour Sessions", in a Hollywood Hills estate that was once the home of an oil heiress who died after driving her car off a cliff on Mulholland Drive, a school for girls, a convent, and a pile of post-earthquake rubble.
In other news, PAPA ROACH will take part in a live chat at TeenMusic.com this coming Monday, September 11 at 3:00 p.m. PST.
As previously reported, "The Paramour Sessions" (due Sept. 12),is available streaming in its entirety at this location.
In a recent interview with Launch Radio Networks the group's lead singer, Jacoby Shaddix, revealed that he's a little nervous about people hearing the record because it's an especially personal one. "I'd say overall it's the most personal band record that we've ever written," he said. "It's definitely got a lot of love, it's got a little bit of hate, but it's got a lot of frustration and angst and rage, and also coming to terms with a lot of crazy personal issues with us as far as love goes, you know. So it's definitely a deep record for us, and it almost sometimes cuts too deep."
The first single from "The Paramour Sessions" is called "...To Be Loved".
The band has scheduled a September 8 appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and a September 9 performance on CDUSA.
PAPA ROACH will team up with H.I.M., LOSTPROPHETS and KILL HANNAH this fall on an 11-date tour dubbed No Sleep Till Halloween, beginning on October 18 in Lowell, Massachusetts.
PAPA ROACH will also headline the 2006 Zippo Hot Tour in November, with dates and cities yet to be announced.
