PARADISE LOST Cancel Romanian Gig
August 21, 2003Britain's PARADISE LOST have been forced to cancel their previously announced Aug. 25 gig in Arad, Romania. "This is due to the fact that the promoter has gone AWOL, and we therefore have to assume after a week of trying to contact him that this is now cancelled," the band write on their web site. "Apologies to any fans who were looking forward to it, the band really did want to play and are hoping someone more reliable will come forward in the future to promote a gig there."
PARADISE LOST's European tour is tentatively scheduled to kick off on October 22 in Stockholm, Sweden. Support at the Scandinavian dates will come from Finland's AMORPHIS, with GODHEAD strongly rumored to fill the opening slot on the entire tour. PARADISE LOST will be touring in support of their ninth studio album, "Symbol Of Life", which was released late last year through G.U.N. Records.
