PARADISE LOST Prepares To Record New Album
October 23, 2006U.K. gothic metal pioneers PARADISE LOST will soon enter the studio with producer Rhys Fulber and mixer Mike Fraser to begin recording their as-yet-untitled eleventh album. The band will embark on a U.K. tour with OPETH in November. After the live dates, the group is planning to record their new album in Bradford, Lincolnshire and Canada in late November/December with a release tentatively scheduled for spring 2007. There are also rumors that a limited-edition version of this album will include four cover tracks as a bonus.
In other news, the documentary about PARADISE LOST's influence on gothic metal, entitled "Over the Madness" (filmed by Diran Noubar),is also due to be shown in 2007.
PARADISE LOST recently inked a worldwide deal with Century Media Records.
GUN/Sony/BMG in Europe and Abacus Recordings in the U.K. and the U.S released the band's last album, "Paradise Lost". Century Media Records will be re-releasing the album in the U.K. and U.S.
