PARADOX Mainman To Undergo Open-Heart Surgery

December 21, 2012

Charly Steinhauer, guitarist/vocalist of long-running German metallers PARADOX, is scheduled to undergo open-heart surgery this Christmas Eve. He says, "I'm very sorry that I have to tell you that I'm in the hospital right now, and I will have a difficult heart surgery on Monday (December 24). Please keep your fingers crossed for me. I will survive and carry on making some good music for you. PARADOX will never die! I don't know if I will be able to go on stage again... Right now, I don't think so."

The official lyric video for the song "Brutalized" from PARADOX can be seen below. The track comes off the band's new album, "Tales Of The Weird", which was released on December 14 via AFM Records. The CD was produced by Steinhauer and was mixed and mastered by Victor Bullok (a.k.a. V. Santura; TRIPTYKON, DARK FORTRESS) at Woodshed Studio in Landshut, Germany. The cover art was created by Claudio Bergamin.

"Tales Of The Weird" features guest appearances by Bob Katsionis (FIREWIND) and Gus Drax (SUNBURST).
