PARAGON Set Working Title For New Album
April 24, 2006German power metallers PARAGON have set "Gangland" as the working title of their new album, which they expect to begin recording later in the year. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Hammer of the Gods", "Souleaters", "Gangland", "Forgotten Prophecies", "Face of Death", "Halls of Doom" and "Agony". "We are in negonations with the next producer and hope we can announce it soon," bassist Jan Bünning writes on the group's web site. "Just a hint — it's also somebody from Hamburg."
PARAGON's latest album, "Revenge", was released in the U.S. in April 2005 via Magick Records. The CD was the follow-up to "The Dark Legacy", which was released in 2003 by Remedy.
"Revenge" was recorded in part at Karo studios with the help of an engineer, and the rest of the recording process and mixing was done at Piet Sielck's (IRON SAVIOR) Powerhouse Studios. The artwork for the record was done by the Argentine artist Valgorth. PRIMAL FEAR guitarist Tom Naumann makes a guest appearance on lead guitar in the track "Impaler".
