PARAGON Working On New Material

November 9, 2010

Bassist Jan Bünning of German power metallers PARAGON has issued the following update:

"After two successful shows we played with our new lineup at the Swordbrothers IX festival and at the Halford in Berlin, we are now started to gather first ideas for our next album. So far we made rehearsal demo recordings of four ideas more to come. Buschi [vocalist Andreas Babuschkin] also already wrote some lyrics for one of the songs and they fit pretty good. We also already spoke with one of our favorite producers a while ago and hope that he will produce our next record. I guess some of you can already imagine who it is."

PARAGON recently acquired two new guitarists, David Wieczorek (ex-STORMWARRIOR) and Wolfgang Tewes (BLACK HAWK, WHEELS OF STEEL).

PARAGON 2010 is:

Andreas "Buschi" Babuschkin (MINOTAUR, VICE VERSA) - Lead Vocals
David Wieczorek (STORMWARRIOR) - Guitar
Wolfgang Tewes (BLACK HAWK, CRYSTAL SHARK) - Guitar
Jan Bünning (ASMODIS, EROSION, BLACK LAWS) - Bass
Christian Gripp (TORMENT, MEAT SHOP) - Drums

PARAGON's latest album, "Screenslaves", was released in November 2008 via Massacre Records. The CD was produced by Uwe Lullis (ex-GRAVE DIGGER, REBELLION) at Black Solaris Studio in Frankfurt.

Bünning quit PARAGON after the recording of 2007's "Forgotten Prophecies" because of "musical differences" but rejoined the band last year.
