PAUL DI'ANNO: U.S. Tour Postponed
November 10, 2008Former IRON MAIDEN vocalist Paul Di'Anno's previously announced U.S. tour has been postponed to sometime in 2009 "due to a delay in the visa process," according to the singer's booking agent. More information will be made available soon.
Di'Anno's U.S. tour was scheduled to kick off on November 28 in Springfield, Virginia.
Paul recently entered the studio with German producer Deiter Roth to begin recording his new album for a 2009 release. Di'Anno stated in June 2008, "I have already fully recorded five of the songs in Germany (at Dieter's studio) and I will have the whole album finished by the end of this year. The album is very different to anything else I have ever recorded and I am so very excited about this album as it really is the business."
Di'Anno in 2006 re-released his 2000 effort, "Nomad", with a few tracklist alterations, under the title "The Living Dead" (Cleopatra Records). The package comes with a bonus DVD that contains the music video for "The Living Dead" and an exclusive in-depth, tell-all interview in which Di'Anno discusses his days with IRON MAIDEN.
