PAUL STANLEY: Solo Tour Attendance Figures Revealed

KissKollector.com has revealed some of the concert attendance figures on KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley's recent U.S. solo tour. Of the 15 headline shows that have been reported to Pollstar, the percentage of sold tickets was 62% which is an average of 950 tickets sold per concert. Paul's opening gig at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA (October 21) grossed $40,615 with 50% of the tickets sold: capacity of the Tabernacle is 2,562 while 1,273 tickets were sold. His October 24 show at the Hard Rock Café in Orlando, FL grossed $30,065 with only 37% of the tickets sold (capacity: 2,618 / tickets sold: 970). The October 28 performance at Irving Plaza in New York, NY grossed $36,260 with all 1,109 tickets sold. The only other sellout was the November 14 gig at House Of Blues in West Hollywood, CA, grossing $38,500 thanks to all 1,100 tickets having been sold. Another great seller was the show at the House Of Blues in Chicago, IL (November 6) were 1,224 of the 1,300 tickets (94%) were sold, grossing $43,058.

Stanley's new solo album, "Live to Win", came out on October 24 and sold just under 17,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to land at position No. 53 of The Billboard 200 chart.
