PEARL JAM To Play 'Secret' Show In New York City
April 28, 2006Tower Records and J Records have teamed up to present a special PEARL JAM show on Friday, May 5 at an as-yet-undisclosed location in New York City. Be one of the first on line to purchase PEARL JAM at midnight at the Tower store in Manhattan on 4th and Broadway on Monday, May 1 and receive a FREE ticket to the show. Supplies are limited, so get there early.
According to Net Music Countdown, PEARL JAM will rock the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City on May 4 as part of an exclusive on-the-web concert event with "The Late Show with David Letterman". Eddie Vedder and his bandmates will tape their performance for "The Late Show with David Letterman" for television broadcast later that night. Then, immediately following the show's taping, PEARL JAM will play a special live mini-concert for "The Late Show" web site. The band's set will feature some of PEARL JAM's biggest hits and some never-before heard songs from their new album, "Pearl Jam", in stores May 2.
This special PEARL JAM webcast is part of "The Late Show"'s new "Live on Letterman" online feature.
To watch PEARL JAM's on-the-web concert, head to www.cbs.com/latenight/lateshow on Thursday, May 4. The concert is scheduled to start at approximately 5:55 p.m. ET / 2:55 p.m. PT, so get there early.
Then be sure to tune in to "The Late Show" at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT that night to catch PEARL JAM's regularly scheduled appearance with Dave (along with Julia Roberts).
