PEEPING TOM Featuring MIKE PATTON: 'Conan' TV Appearance Posted Online

May 27, 2006

A video clip of PEEPING TOM's performance of the track "Mojo" on NBC-TV's "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" — which was taped Friday afternoon (May 26) for broadcast later that night — has been posted online at YouTube.com.

"Mojo" comes off PEEPING TOM's self-titled debut album, due on May 30 via the Ipecac label. The CD features mainman Mike Patton (ex-FAITH NO MORE) alongside a slew of collaborators such as British trip-hop group MASSIVE ATTACK, rapper Kool Keith, human beatbox Rhazel and Grammy-winning singer Norah Jones.

"I don't listen to the radio, but if I did, this is what I'd want it to sound like," Patton said of the project, according to Billboard.com. "This is my version of pop music. In way, this is an exercise for me: taking all these things I've learned over the years and putting them into a pop format."
