April 19, 2005Photos of KISS frontman Paul Stanley's first-ever public showing of his art can be seen exclusively on KISS Kollector Online, the web site of the European KISS Army. On April 6, Stanley appeared at the Celebrites art gallery at Wailea on Maui (Hawaii) to unveil his latest paintings. The exhibition included a self portrait, and several abstract paintings such as "Green Planet", "Purple Haze", "All You Need Is Love" and "Astra Autumn".
From the press release: "As an art major and graduate of the prestigious High School of Music and Art in New York City, Paul has returned to his passion for painting, to share with you the deep emotions his art conveys. . . Paul Stanley creates purely abstract and emotionally charged compositions in which we are invited to experience his work as an object of the visceral… a state of mind detached from any unnecessary association with things or places tangible."
