Photos Of EDDIE VAN HALEN, OZZY OSBOURNE, SLASH And Others Part Of 'FU Rock 'N' Roll Portraits' Auction Event

April 7, 2022

Julien's Auctions, the world-record breaking auction house to the stars, will offer "FU Rock 'N' Roll Portraits: Neil Zlozower Premier NFT Collection And Signed Prints", an auction event taking place online Monday, May 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. PDT at juliensauctions.com. Forty-five lots featuring one-of-one NFTs accompanying signed and original prints of rock and roll legends from rock photography icon Neil Zlozower, a.k.a. Zloz, will be offered to the public for the first time.

The subject of the award-winning documentary "In Your Face - The Neil Zlozower Story", California native, photography legend and cult figure Neil Zlozower has captured the icons of rock and roll for over 40 years with his electrifying film images defining the very way people think of rock stars. Splashed on the covers and pages of magazines from Rolling Stone, Guitar Player, Metal Hammer, Guitar World, Drum to Playgirl, Zloz has photographed the Mount Rushmore of rock giants — LED ZEPPELIN, David Bowie, GUNS N' ROSES, VAN HALEN, KISS and more.

Revered as "one of the band" by the numerous rock stars he has captured, these portraits of his subjects such as Slash and Eddie Van Halen each show them "flipping the bird" in their own unique and colorful way to Zloz. Not only has his ardent lens immortalized their wild and "larger-than-life" personas and the era during which they were taken but Zloz's photos also give some insight into his intimate friendships with rock music's behemoths.

Each lot will include:

A digital version of the photograph as an exclusive 1-of-1 NFT minted on the Ethereum blockchain. The item is brought to life in an even more personal way through Zloz's exclusive audio narration, which is minted as part of this NFT. An NFT is a unique and non-interchangeable unit of data stored on the blockchain.

NFT highlights with the signed and original photo include (estimates ranging from $800 - $2,000):
