PILEDRIVER Putting Finishing Touches On New Album

January 18, 2008

Guitarist Kinky Pork Cream of the Canadian metal legends PILEDRIVER has issued the following update:

"Well, the work on the [new PILEDRIVER] CD is continuing as we approach the end of tracking. We are preparing three more tunes to record and then that should be it... until it falls into the capable hands of Mr. Neil Kernon [NEVERMORE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, DEICIDE] who will be doing the mix for us. We are excited to hear the results of his knob-turning mastery. Also, we have a few shows on the horizon, one being right here in Toronto on February 23 at Sneaky Dee's. This will be most likely our only Toronto show as we have many other cities on the 'to-do' list this year.

"Speaking of other cities, we are also looking at doing a show in London, Ontario and Windsor, Ontario in April. As well, we have two confirmed radio interviews to do. One is with Rob Cranny on his 'A Vulgar Display Of Metal' show on CFRE. You can hear the craziness on the 'Net at CFRE.net on January 24. The show runs from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. On February 20, we will be appearing on 'Black Flame Radio' with Derek Tully. You can hear that live on 105.5 FM as well as on Rogers Digital Cable channel 945, or www.chry.fm.

"And last but not least, I'm proud to announce that I have recently received a Jackson guitar endorsement!! I've always loved their guitars and now will be proudly playing them live on stage. This, along with my GHS string endorsement, and Rocktron endorsement, has taken my sound to the next level."
