PINK CREAM 69 Frontman In WHITESNAKE Tribute Band; Audio Samples Available

June 3, 2009

Audio samples of QUITESNAKE, the Germany-based WHITESNAKE tribute band featuring British vocalist David Readman (PINK CREAM 69, ADAGIO),are available at this location.

When asked what made him decide to join a project like this, Readman said, "Well, I virtually grew up with WHITESNAKE. I remember seeing the album 'Saints and Sinners' in our local Woolworth's, which has now gone due to the financial problems in the world today.

"In 1987 I was 17 and I was just discovering the '1987' album. Basically I locked myself away about half a year and worked on my voice.

"Lars [Nippa, drums] asked me last year if I was interested. Yes, I was indeed, I jammed with the guys and realized this was a great bunch of musicians all wanting the same goal. I just had to be a part of it."

QUITESNAKE is:

* David Readman (PINK CREAM 69, ADAGIO): Vocals
* Lars Nippa (CHRYZTYNE, ZAR): Drums/Backing Vocals
* Patrick Haschka (DAVID READMAN BAND): Guitar/Backing Vocals
* Stefan Bürk (PUMP): Bass/Backing Vocals
* Frank Olbrich (SEVEN WISHES, THE GREAT ROCK BLOCK): Guitar
* Armin Herzog (KON CHAUVI, EIGHTY-X, LEF DEPPARD, BALL & CHAIN): Keyboards/Backing Vocals
