PISSING RAZORS Part With Vocalist, Announce Replacement
October 8, 2002Texas' PISSING RAZORS have parted ways with vocalist Jason Bragg due to "creative differences." Bragg, who joined the band in early 2001 and appeared on the band's last album, Where We Come From, has gone on to start his own ventures. He is replaced in the group by Andre Acosta, a "very talented and dedicated vocalist who has been a long time force in the El Paso music scene," according to a message on the band's official web site. "Andre adds a new and distinct flavor to the mix and we are sure you won't be disappointed. He will also be doing the vocals on the November 19th release of Live In the Devil's Triangle. "
As a result of the vocalist change, PISSING RAZORS have decided to drop off the upcoming November/December tour with SKINLAB, DOPE, and PRIMER 55. Plans are for the group to hit the road in Europe in January, to be followed by the recording of the band's next CD, tentatively due in April.
