PITCHSHIFTER Part Ways With Live Rhythm Guitarist

January 6, 2002

PITCHSHIFTER's live rhythm guitarist for the past two years, Matt Grundy, has left the group. According to PITCHSHIFTER vocalist J.S. Clayden, Matt was with us for the last two years and it has been our pleasure to have him along for the ride. There is no animosity between Matt and PITCHSHIFTER, it's simply time for him to move on and explore other avenues. We would like to give a big thanks to Matt and wish him every success with his new band THE BLUEPRINT. You all know Matt from the live gigs and the message board. We hope you guys can wish him well and check out his new band when they show up later in the year. A big 'peace' to Mr. Grundy from all of PITCHSHIFTER, the management, the crew, and all at pitchshifter.com."

Matt's new band THE BLUEPRINT is a Nottingham-based group consiting of Grundy, EARTHTONE 9 singer Karl Middleton, PITCHSHIFTER bassist Mark Clayden, CONSUMED guitarist Will Burchell and CONSUMED drummer Chris Billam.
