PLACE OF SKULLS Hard At Work On New Album
February 18, 2010PLACE OF SKULLS, the Knoxville, Tennessee-based band featuring former PENTAGRAM guitarist Victor Griffin, entered Lakeside Studios in the group's hometown on January 25 to begin recording its as-yet-untitled new album. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include:
* Dayspring
* As A Dog Returns
* The Maker
* Breath Of Life
* Though He Stay Me

PLACE OF SKULLS' third full-length album, "The Black Is Never Far", was released in 2006 via Exile On Mainstream Records. The CD was recorded at Lakeside Studios with producers Travis Wyrick and Mike Dearing, and featured Griffin alongside Dennis Cornelius of REVELATION and OVERSOUL fame and drummer extraordinaire Tim Tomaselli. Longtime friend and original PLACE OF SKULLS/DEATH ROW bassist Lee Abney also made a guest appearance.
