PLACE VENDÔME: Lineup Confirmed For Third Album

March 14, 2013

Acording to the Michael Kiske Official Fanclub, the lineup for PLACE VENDÔME's third album will consist of Michael Kiske (UNISONIC, ex-HELLOWEEN) on vocals, Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69, UNISONIC) on bass, Uwe Reitenauer (PINK CREAM 69, SUNSTORM) on guitar, Gunter Werno (VANDEN PLAS) on keyboards and Dirk Bruinenberg (ELEGY, ADAGIO) on drums. Ward is also producing the CD, which is tentatively due later this year via Frontiers Records.

Commented Reitenauer: "Lots of songwriters are involved; Dennis and I were too busy to write many songs since we have other bands like PINK CREAM 69 or UNISONIC... I was asked to do the guitar work again. But the songs are just demos — lots of riffs, solos and some parts are composed by Dennis and me."

PLACE VENDÔME's second album, "Streets Of Fire", was released in February 2009 through Frontiers. The CD was recorded at Ward's studio in Karlsdorf, Germany, with Ward's PINK CREAM 69 bandmate Kosta Zafiriou and Gunther Werno of VANDEN PLAS laying down drums and keyboards, respectively. A promotional video for the song "My Guardian Angel" — written by Magnus Karlsson (BOB CATLEY, PRIMAL FEAR) — was included as a special interactive bonus on the album and marked Kiske's visual return to the scene after years of a self-imposed exile.
