PLEASURE MAKER Sign With SPIRITUAL BEAST RECORDS
May 16, 2006Spiritual Beast has announced the signing of Brazilian hard rockers PLEASURE MAKER. The first release under the deal will be a "revitalized" version of their debut album, "Love on the Rocks", which was previously released in Latin America. It will be re-mastered and feature completely new artwork by Brazilian artist Gustavo Sazes (TRIBUZY, FATES PROPHECY).
Formed in 2001 in Rio de Janeiro from the ashes of a BON JOVI cover band, PLEASURE MAKER's sound is reminiscent of the '80s hard rock back scene, combining technique, melody and great choruses, without "living in the past." The core of the band includes C. Marshall on vocals (who had released two albums with FUGITIVOS DE TOQUIO),Alex Meister on guitars (who was one of the founding members of THOTEN),and Mark Sant'anna on bass (who is known for having played in several rock/pop bands in Rio de Janeiro). The band are currently playing local shows in Brazil, establishing themselves as a live act.
