POISON Drummer Talks Upcoming DEF LEPPARD Tour In New Video Interview

February 8, 2012

David "Gus" Griesinger of BackstageAxxess.com conducted an interview with POISON drummer Rikki Rockett at the 2012 NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, a massive music-products convention that took place January 19-22 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. You can now watch the chat below.

It's official, POISON and DEF LEPPARD will be hitting the road together for a joint tour. LEPPARD guitarist Phil Collen had first mentioned that the band, and either POISON or frontman Bret Michaels on his own, would be hitting the road together, but Rockett posted that the tour was indeed happening. No dates have been announced. Collen had said that he had hoped that TWISTED SISTER might be added to the bill to round out the tour of bands that have their music featured in the upcoming "Rock Of Ages" movie, but so far no mention of their involvement has been made.
