POISON Drummer To Detractors: 'I'm Far From Broke, Ya F**kin' Douche Bags!'

February 4, 2009

POISON drummer Rikki Rockett has responded to critics over his decision to auction his "beautiful" Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Turn-O-Graph watch via eBay. Just two years old, the watch is said to be in great shape and a "total head-turner." Rikki purchased this very watch new and it can be seen in several photos including the ones shown below.

Combining functionality and comfort, the Turn-O-Graph has a bezel that can be rotated in both directions to measure short periods of elapsed time. It is self-winding and waterproof to 100 meters/330 feet.

Commented Rockett: "So, I'm a bit of a watch collector. More so now than in the past. I recently picked up a Green Milgauss Rolex. Love it! I have a few other oddities, but I wear the new Rolex the most.

"I decided to sell my 2006 Rolex because it isn't a collector's watch and I haven't worn it even once since I got the new one. Besides, I'd prefer to set some of the memories attached to the watch aside.'Toss it up on eBay,' everyone kept telling me. Fine, so I did. Now I'm all over the crap press with people saying shit like, 'Oh, he must be broke!' and bullshit like that. Holy fuck! Do I have to be on the skids to sell something? Do I have to keep everything I ever bought or in the public's eye I'm going broke? What the fuck? Geez! I'm far from broke, ya fuckin' douche bags! I'm just unloading a watch because I ain't wearin' the fuckin' thing!

"For fuck's sake!"
