POISON Singer To Be Joined By Country Star LEANN RIMES For 'Historic' Duet

POISON frontman Bret Michaels will be joined by country star LeAnn Rimes for a historic" duet of POISON's classic power ballad, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", on this week's "Nashville Star", airing Tuesday, March 29 at 10:00 p.m. on the USA Network. Michaels is one of the three celebrity judges on the third season of the talent show, which features Rimes as its host.

In a recent post on his official web site, Michaels explained his love for country music: "I grew up listening to my dad's country music and have always enjoyed it and never stopped listening to country. Some of the artists that I listen to include Travis Tritt, Tim McGraw, Jeffery Steele, my drinkin' buddies Montgomery Gentry, Hank Williams Sr., Hank Jr. — and the list goes on and on, there are simply too many of my favorites to list here right now... Rascal Flatts, Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash..."
