POISON THE WELL Announces Headlining Tour

February 10, 2007

POISON THE WELL has announced its first full national tour of 2007 — a headlining run with FEAR BEFORE THE MARCH OF FLAMES, HEAVY HEAVY LOW LOW, and rotating spots with THE END and PORTUGAL THE MAN. This is POISON THE WELL's first tour since last summer's Strhess Tour with SHADOWS FALL and first since recording its new album, "Versions", to be released this April.

Commented drummer Chris Hornbrook: "We're all really excited about getting back out on tour and debuting our new material. The last eight months have been really crazy and we are ready to be a real, functional touring band again."

In preparation for this headlining run, POISON THE WELL will do a week-long string of dates in the Southeast with THIS IS HELL and THE END later this month. Both tours are building up to the release of "Versions", the band's first album since 2003's "You Come Before You" on Atlantic Records, which sold over 130,000 copies in the U.S.

POISON THE WELL recorded "Versions" with the same production team of Pelle Henricsson and Eskil Lovstro who recorded "You Come Before You" as well as classic albums by REFUSED, BREACH and others. The album also marks the band's first record for Ferret Music, which signed the group after they parted ways with Atlantic Records in summer 2006.

POISON THE WELL — made up of Hornbrook, Ryan Primack (guitar) and Jeffrey Moreira (vocals) — will augment their touring lineup with Mike MacIvor (formerly of CANDIRIA) and Brad Clifford (of SINCE BY MAN).
