POISONBLACK Lands In Finnish Top 10

"A Dead Heavy Day", the new album from POISONBLACK — the Finnish band featuring former SENTENCED frontman Ville Laihiala — has entered the chart in the group's home country at position No. 6. The album was made available as standard CD, LP plus bonus CD as well as limited-edition CD plus bonus DVD containing a "Making Of A Dead Heavy Day", the video for the single "Rush" (taken from the band's 2006 effort "Lust-Stained Despair"),and seven songs filmed at an exclusive semi-acoustic gig at Radio Mega in the band's hometown of Oulu.

Italian news blog Musica Metal recently conducted an interview with POISONBLACK drummer Tarmo Kanerva. The ten-minute chat can be streamed at this location (click on the "play" button to launch audio).

POISONBLACK in 2006 entered the Finnish national album chart with its sophomore CD, "Lust-Stained Despair", at position No. 2.
