POWERMAN 5000: New Album Artwork Unveiled
September 7, 2009The cover artwork for "Somewhere On The Other Side Of Nowhere", the new album from POWERMAN 5000, can be viewed below. Due on October 6, the CD will feature such tracks as "Time Bomb", "Make Us Insane", "Show Me What You Got", "Super Villain", "V Is For Vampire", "Horror Show" and "Somewhere On The Other Side Of Nowhere".
In a recent interview, POWERMAN 5000 vocalist Spider stated, "We made this record with a clear vision and a purpose. We wanted to reclaim a sound we created and represent certain influences as only a band like POWERMAN 5000 can. While writing we would watch Godzilla or Ultraman films to ensure the sonics were on point. We knew that this record needed to sound like the footsteps of a giant robot!"
"Somewhere On The Other Side Of Nowhere" will be available on iTunes and all digital outlets as well as in CD format with a 12-page booklet. The band will also be shooting a music video for the track "Super Villain" in September followed by a national headlining tour in October.

POWERMAN 5000 released a new digital single, "V Is For Vampire", on April 16 via iTunes, Amazon and other digital music outlets.
The band's last album, "Destroy What You Enjoy", was produced by Mudrock (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, GODSMACK),who also co-produced POWERMAN 5000's major label debut, "Mega!! Kung Fu Radio". The CD was recorded at the Hobby Shop in Eagle Rock, California and was mixed by Dave Schiffman (AUDIOSLAVE, JOHNNY CASH, SYSTEM OF A DOWN).
