POWERTRIP Signs With SLEASZY RIDER RECORDS

Swedish female-fronted alternative rock/metal band POWERTRIP (photo) has inked a deal with Greece's Sleaszy Rider Records. The group's debut album, "Cold Black Lie", is scheduled for release in early 2007. Four songs that are scheduled to appear on the CD — "Abused", "My Statement", "Emptiness" and "Mist" — are currently available for preview at the band's official web site.
