POWERWORLD To Enter Studio Next Month

POWERWORLD, the new German band formed by ex-FREEDOM CALL bassist Ilker Ersin, will enter the studio on October 23 to begin recording its debut album for an early 2007 release. Two demo songs — "Your World Is Not Mine" and "Reach the Light" — are currently available for streaming on the group's MySpace page. The band's lineup is as follows:

Steffen Brunner - Vocals
Barish Kepic (ex-JADED HEART) - Guitar
Ilker Ersin (ex-FREEDOM CALL) - Bass
Nils Neumann (FREEDOM CALL) - Keyboards
Jürgen Lucki Lucas (ex-AT VANCE) - Drums

Steffen Brunner joined POWERWORLD as the replacement for Chity Somapala (ex-FIREWIND, AVALON, MOONLIGHT AGONY, FARO),who left the group in January due to "musical differences."
