PRETTY BOY FLOYD's DAVEY LISTER Interviewed

January 30, 2008

Davey Lister, current guitarist for PRETTY BOY FLOYD, was recently interviewed by Ray Reid (professional historian and author of the forthcoming book "L.A's Burning: From Mötley Crüe to Guns N' Roses, the History of L.A Metal 1981-1993") about his time with the band, working at porno mag Gent, growing up with SKID ROW and the breakup of the 2007 PRETTY BOY FLOYD lineup.

Lister, who is the guitar protégé of SKID ROW's Dave "Snake" Sabo, played with PRETTY BOY FLOYD throughout 2007 and gives his side of the story following a very public separation of the band from its bass player and drummer at the end of the year.

The full interview is online now at this location.

The L.A's Burning blog is a companion to the forthcoming book by author and historian Ray Reid. He is currently in the research stage, interviewing band members, roadies, groupies, promoters, and more or less anyone attached to the L.A rock scene during the '80s and early '90s. Exclusive interviews will be posted regularly on the site along with a mix retrospective articles and critical reviews.

The book is due out winter 2008.
