PRIMAL FEAR Bassist Collaborates With ROY Z

PRIMAL FEAR bassist Mat Sinner has posted the following update on his official web site:

"GODDESS SHIVA – my first band, formerly known as SHIVA — will release their first album ever via MTM Music on October 20th, 2006. Check out the new GSweb site.

"I never thought, that these songs will ever be produced for an official CD release, but now we could realize it and record all these classic tunes during the last months, together with some brand new songs! Check out this very interesting album!

"Tom [Naumann, PRIMAL FEAR guitarist] and me can confirm an endorsement deal with Gibson Guitars and we're very proud to list some new guitars & basses we'd played anyway all over the years, to our equipment list.

"As you might have noticed, I've confirmed a new partnership with MTM Music in Munich as their Head of A&R. This is not a new cooperation, because the process was growing over the last months and I've already signed some great new talent, plus I'm working on some promising names! A word to all bands and artists — feel free to send me your productions or demos, including a biography and a photo. We're searching for creative rock and metal bands in all directions! Check the MTM website during the next couple of weeks with more news, signings and more! "SINNER is in the final writing process for the new album. We have around 20-plus songs to discuss and will start the final pre-production next week. Our target is to recreate the vibe of the classic SINNER albums, combined with the sound of 2006. Everybody is really excited to start the recordings. Aside of the band, some songs were written together with my songwriting guru Ronny Milianowicz, who became a proud dad last week.

"Finally, I am excited to collaborate with my partner in crime and one of the most respected guys in this business on one new song — Roy Z. First, we talked about this project in November, as we played together Brazil. But now it looks like we could realize it and one of the major songs of the upcoming album 'Mask Of Smiles', due out On January 19th, 2007 will be the start of this new collaboration!"
