Producer ANDY SNEAP Mixing SOULFLY DVD, To Produce New NEVERMORE

September 3, 2004

Metal producer extraordinaire Andy Sneap (ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE, OPETH, MACHINE HEAD, SKINLAB) has posted the following update on his web site:

"OK, here's some home movies (Quicktime) stuff from when I mixed TESTAMENT's 'The Gathering' Album. I've been getting a few questions on the forum about the studio, gear etc, so take a look.

"Other news, [the new] KREATOR [album] is all done and dusted, I've been out in Hamburg working with Roland Grapow and MASTERPLAN for the past month, that's gone well, although we ran out of time, so they are finishing up bass and solos right now by themselves. I'm just mixing some SOULFLY live stuff for DVD, only a couple of songs, then I've got a SPIRITUAL BEGGARS DVD to mix and also TRIVIUM for Roadrunner in October.

"NEVERMORE are now booked in to [Sneap's] Backstage [studios] from the 7th November through until mid-December and AS I LAY DYING are booked in for the first half of February for their mix.

"Busy times!!

"I also went to Berlin the otherday, to retrieve the old SABBAT multi tracks from Noise/Sanctuary. We've been talking about rereleasing 'Dreamweaver' for a while now, but I wanted to remix it. I've managed to find 2 reels from that session (not the whole album),the whole of the first album and the last show we did in Berlin. I've also got the mixed safety copy half inch, so we can do something with it. We're waiting to see whether the lost tapes are at Hansa, where we mixed it. They need baking anyway, so I'm going to get that done next week. I'll keep you posted on that."
