Producer COLIN RICHARDSON Is Asking For Your Help

October 30, 2007

Acclaimed metal producer Colin Richardson's (BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, AS I LAY DYING, MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY, NAPALM DEATH) manager/ex-wife Lora has issued the following statement:

"The California wild fires have been devastating for millions of people. Myself and Colin's 14-year-old daughter live in Fallbrook, which is in northern San Diego County. We spent most of last week without a home due to the mandatory evacuation of our entire town. Countless people have lost their homes, everything. It's been horrible, to say the least. We were lucky and our house was still standing when were allowed to return home. Being in the UK, Colin could only ask every day how his daughter was doing. Like many people.

"The Red Cross has been doing an AMAZING job out here, helping with everything you can possibly think of. We can all thank the good people of the Red Cross by giving any amount of donation. This disaster has been costly and the Red Cross has been there, but they are in need of more donations. Even if you can only give a dollar, it will help. If everyone on Colin's friends list were to give $5, we will have raised over $28,000 for the Red Cross. If you can, please help. Just go to www.redcross.org to give and get information. Both Colin and I appreciate you taking the time.

"If you are in an unsigned band and give $50.00 to the Red Cross, Colin will listen to one of your tracks and write back a brief critique. If we really love what we hear, we will recommend you to some of the A&R folks we work with. After you donate you will receive a 'thank you' email from the Red Cross. Just send me a message on my page and I will give you an email address to forward the email to. Then forward me the email and a link to your music and Colin will come back to you within a week.

"Thanks very much for reading this and thank you for helping!"
