Promoters Say Second Adelaide AC/DC Concert 'Will Not Be Staged'

AdelaideNow reports: Despite more than 3,900 rock and roll fans joining AdelaideNow's petition for a second AC/DC concert in Adelaide, Australia, promoters today announced it will not be staged.

In a statement released late this afternoon, promoters Garry Van Egmond and Chugg Entertainment said that after "exhaustive negotiations with AC/DC management for an additional concert date to be added in Adelaide by rearranging concert dates in Tokyo and Osaka, it is now confirmed that no additional concert can be added."

This follows the frenzy in which tickets to the band's Adelaide show were snapped up in record time with all 40,000 tickets to the show selling out in a matter of hours.
