PRONG And OMEN To Play Next Month's TEXAS HELLFEST

PRONG has inked a deal with MINISTRY mainman Al Jourgenson's 13th Planet Records label for the release of the group's new album, tentatively due in October. The band — whose lineup consists of Tommy Victor (vocals, guitar),Monte Pittman (bass) and Aaron Rossi (drums) — is currenty recording the new CD at Sonic Ranch studios in Tornillo, Texas.
PRONG's last CD, 2004's "Scorpio Rising", was released after a long hiatus from the rock scene. "I had to do something, no matter what it was," stated Tommy Victor. "Looking back, I don't feel like it was an appropriate release under the PRONG moniker. I still feel like the best is yet to come."
