PRONG: New Audio Interview With TOMMY VICTOR Posted Online
September 28, 2007A brand new audio interview with PRONG mainman Tommy Victor is available for download at this location (MP3, 42 MB).
As previously reported, Tommy Victor will pay a visit to Vintage Vinyl in Fords, N.J., on October 2, the day of the release of his band's brand new album, "Power of the Damager".
Victor will be at the store from 7 p.m., signing copies of "Power of the Damager" and celebrating its release. Before heading to Vintage Vinyl, Victor will stop by the WSOU studios at 4 p.m. for an on-air interview.
Vintage Vinyl is located at 51 Lafayette Road in Fords, NJ.
A new PRONG song, entitled "The Banishment", is available for download at this location. The track comes off "Power of the Damager", which maintains the razor-sharp signature riffs band founder Tommy Victor has perfected over the last 20 years while harkening back to the rawness of PRONG's pioneering years as industrial metal's native son. Most notable is the record's in-your-face production, which came courtesy of Victor himself.
Joining Victor in the PRONG trio is bassist Monte Pittman, a PRONG veteran who does double-duty as tour guitarist for none other than MADONNA, and drummer Aaron Rossi.
"Power of the Damager" is PRONG's first release for MINISTRY mainman Al Jourgensen's 13th Planet Records, a relationship that was kindled while Victor played with Jourgensen in MINISTRY.
PRONG will begin touring in support of "Power of the Damager" in October, kick-starting the tour in 13th Planet's hometown of El Paso, Texas. A list of upcoming dates can be found at the band's MySpace page.
