PRONG: New Touring Lineup Announced

September 16, 2009

PRONG is preparing to embark on a U.S. tour in support of "Power Of The Damn Mixxxer", the remix counterpart to the band's 2007 album "Power of The Damager". Also appearing on the bill are headliners SOULFLY alongside CATTLE DECAPITATION and MUTINY WITHIN.

PRONG founder Tommy Victor will be joined on this trek by Tony Campos (STATIC-X) on bass and Alexei Rodriguez (formerly 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, WALLS OF JERICHO) on drums.

Victor previously stated about "Power Of The Damn Mixxxer", "We are really excited about this remix compilation of 'Power Of The Damager' material. We feel the LP was overlooked and in some cases ignored. But the added elements provided by the great remixers, producers, and deejays infused with all the tracks make 'Power Of The Damn Mixxxer' an interesting yet enjoyable listening experience."

PRONG had two songs added to the Rock Band Music Store on May 5 for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and May 7 for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. The tracks are "The Banishment" from their late 2007 release "Power of The Damager" as well as the previously unreleased track "Idealistic Types".

FrantikMag.com recently conducted an interview with Victor. You can now watch the chat in two parts below.
